HIV monitoring in Ukraine

The implementation of the State Strategy for Combating HIV/AIDS for the period up to 2030 provides for open and transparent accountability, the setting of clear interim and final goals and objectives, the effectiveness of which can be measured and evaluated. The Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (PHC), in collaboration with its partners, has initiated the creation of a specialized information resource, “Monitoring HIV Infection in Ukraine,” to expand opportunities for a wide audience of interested parties to obtain high-quality and up-to-date data on the results of efforts to combat the HIV epidemic. The potential audience of users of this resource is not limited by their level of training in monitoring or epidemiology. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for anyone who wants to raise their own awareness of the epidemic, who wants to have up-to-date data for making important decisions, and who wants to implement their own interesting ideas for improving the situation in the region or Ukraine as a whole to access strategic information on HIV/AIDS.
